Ramallah, 13th April 2010 - EUPOL COPPS’s Deputy Head Of Mission, Ari Sarjanen, hosted a 3 member German Delegation composed by the new German Military Attache -based in the German Embassy in Tel Aviv- Captain at Sea Paul Becker, Lt. Col. Michael Rüb and the Deputy Head of German Representative Office in Ramallah, Gerhard Schlaudraff at the Mission’s Headquarters.
EUPOL COPPS’s Deputy Head of Mission provided then with a general presentation of the security situation within the West Bank, as well as a specific one on the Mission’s legal mandate, activities and prospects for the oncoming future.
He also explained about the performance of the Palestinian Authority’s institutions that are involved in the Criminal Justice process and the reform of the Rule of Law sector, where the International Community is placing a growing interest.
