Jericho - 14th January, 2013 - EUPOL COPPS police advisers supported Palestinian police officers in establishing software for E-Learning to be used by members of the Palestinian Civil Police to enrich their know-how in various police sciences.
The Mission’s advisers supported, as co-trainers, four sessions in the Jericho-based Palestine College for Police Sciences involving 96 police officers in teaching them how to use the system. The Mission’s Police advisers will further develop training material to be uploaded to the system in terms of layout and presentation.
At present, there are four courses available online to members of the PCP covering subjects which include Human Rights, management and traffic regulations. More members of the Police will be given the chance to access the system.
The aim of the project is to include all the training curricula of the PCP into the E-Learning system and to establish an online library accessible from all police offices within the West bank .
