Forty Palestinian Police officers receive first aid training

Jericho, 17th April 2013 - Forty Palestinian tourist Police officers received first aid training in order to enable them to provide a preliminary medical care to tourists and citizens

The two-day training programme at the Jericho-based Palestine Academy for Police Sciences also included the delivery of 45 first aid kits to Tourist Police field officers and mobile units. After the training, the participants are expected  to deal with medical emergency incidents at tourist sites if need be.
The training was carried out by experienced Palestinian paramedics from the Red Crescent Society and funded by EUPOL COPPS.
