Ramallah, September 14 - Three Palestinian prosecutors assigned to the Palestinian Anti-Corruption Commission participated in a study trip in Finland to learn specialized techniques in the field of investigation and asset recovery.
Prosecutors and police from Helsinki and Turku showed their Palestinian counterparts practical examples on how to recognize cases of corruption, money laundering, asset tracing, modern investigation methods, and cooperation between the Finnish Prosecution and the police authorities assigned to investigate and prosecute such crimes.
The participants were given detailed presentations on the Finnish model and practice by the National Bureau of Investigation specialists and specialized economic crimes prosecutor.
