Three Palestinian lawyers attend a cyber crime training in Germany

Trier, 26th April 2013 - A delegation of three lawyers of the Palestinian Bar Association (PBA) visited  the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier, Germany and attended a basic training course on legal and technical aspects on cyber crime.

One of the aims of the training which was supported by EUPOL COPPS, was to identify and discuss with relevant ERA officials other modules of their training that might be of interest in the future for PBA lawyers and possibly other Palestinian institutions.

Several course programmes have been discussed between the ERA officials, the PBA Councilman, and the Defence Counsel Expert that might become part of the PBA initial and mostly continuous legal education plan. They will range from specialization into cybercrime and presentation of electronic evidence in court, to an ad hoc training on advocacy skills and  to victims rights in court  proceedings.
