Ramallah, 14th January 2015 - EUPOL COPPS acting Head of Mission (AHOM), Rodolphe Mauget met with the Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah. Mr. Mauget expressed his best wishes for the New Year and briefed him on the activities of the Mission in 2014 with Palestinian counterparts.
During the meeting, the AHoM discussed with the Palestinian premier EUPOL COPPS’ plans for this year to enhance the capabilities of the Palestinian counterparts – the Palestinian Civil Police and the Criminal Justice Institutions as well as the ministries of interior and justice.
The AHoM stressed that EUPOL COPPS will continue to work closely with these institutions, adding that the Mission was standing ready to continue its support to the Palestinian government in consolidating the Rule of Law in Palestine.
