Handover drug tests to PCP Antinarcotics Department

Ramallah, 2nd February 2015 - EUPOL COPPS handed over several drug tests kits to the Palestinian Civil Police Antinarcotics Department, represented by Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Ilawie – Deputy Director of Antinarcotics Department.

The PCP Antinarcotics Department is the key player in the West Bank to deal with drug offences. One of the main preconditions to fulfill this difficult task for the ANA police officers is the necessity to have a proper identification of different types of drugs. To further enhance the capability of this department in conducting its missions, EUPOL COPPS delivered today more than 500 drug detection kits.
