EUPOL COPPS delivers training equipment for Palestinian Police

Ramallah, 25th February 2015 - EUPOL COPPS delivered specific equipment for Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) training at the Palestinian College for Police Sciences (PCPS) in Jericho. These equipment was included originally for the In-Service Training Project, together with 44 mattresses, 22 blue knives and 22 blue training guns recently delivered. The In-Service Training will start on the 3rd of March in the Pilot District (Salfit). It will consist of a training curriculum meant to refresh and reinforce Basic Police Skills such as stopping a vehicle by applying gradual use of force and preserving a crime scene, etc. PCPS and District Trainers will create the training scenarios and carry out the activities, to familiarize with training techniques and ensure that adequate standards are met.
