EUPOL COPPS hands over evidence bags to Palestinian police

Ramallah, April 22, 2015 -  EUPOL COPPS handed over evidence bags to the head of the Automated Finger Print Identification System (AFIS) Section of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP). The main objective of the project is to replenish the PCP with evidence bags in the Criminal Investigation Department District units as it was running out of proper plastic evidence bags for seized items. The delivery is planned to cover the needs of the Criminal Investigation Department for the next three years. Evidence bags enable investigators at the crime scene to collect items in a fashion which does not compromise the nature of the evidence.
