EUPOL COPPS facilitates workshop on Anti-Money Laundering

Ramallah, 05 – 07 May EUPOL COPPS facilitates a workshop on Anti-Money Laundering at the Palestinian Judicial Institute. Beneficiaries of the workshop are specialized judges of the Corruption Crimes Court and prosecutors of the Palestinian-Anti-Corruption Commission and the Economic Crimes Unit. The presentations of the workshop are being conducted by the Palestinian Financial Follow-up Unit. This workshop is part of a project of two workshops aiming to further support and enhance the capacities of the specialized judges and prosecutors in the fight against Corruption and to foster the Rule of Law in Palestine.  The second workshop is to be held from 07 - 08 June focusing on the recovery of the proceeds of crime. This project is launched through the Palestinian Judicial Institute as the official Palestinian training institution to conduct capacity building activities for the judiciary.
