On 04 July 2015, Head of EUPOL COPPS Mission Mr. Rodolphe Mauget met a high profile Spanish governmental delegation, composed of Minister of Interior Jorge Fernández Díaz, Minister of Justice Rafael Catalá and other Spanish officials in Ramallah. Mr. Mauget and his team briefed the delegation about the mission activities and mandate, which has been recently extended for another year. During the meeting which took place at the Mission’s headquarters, Mr. Mauget also touched upon the accomplishments that have been achieved as well as the challenges that the EUPOL COPPS is facing. Spain has allocated substantial funds to support building the institutions of the palestinian state.
