On 18 August 2015, EUPOL COPPS took part in a summer camp organized by the Palestinian Civil Police. This “Little Policeman” summer camp aimed at raising the kids awareness on traffic safety, drug and tobacco prevention and on the dangers of found objects, firearms and fireworks. Some lessons also addressed the dangers of an improper use of the internet, in addition to the lectures presenting the Palestinian Civil Police and it’s role within the Palestinian society. This summer camp is part of a series of Summer camps taking place in the West Bank. In Tulkarem, it gathered approximately 70 kids between 10 and 14 years-old. EUPOL COPPS has been involved in providing T-shirts for the kids. On this occasion, Col. Musa Yadak evoked its appreciation of EUPOL COPPS support and ask the mission police officers us to help distributing the awards and gifts to the kids.
