On 25 November 2015, EUPOL COPPS police advisers attended an awareness-raising lecture for Palestinian students in the West Bank town of Birzeit. The lecture, which was delivered by Palestinian Civil Police officers, is part of the Mission’s engagement in Community Policing. A verity of topics were presented to dozens of Palestinian students, such as internet safety, fireworks and avoiding unexploded ordinance. Similar engagements with the PCP in the field of Community Policing took place in other schools to strengthen bridges with the community, including children and teenagers.
