On 20 January 2016, Head of EUPOL COPPS Mission Rodolphe Mauget met Palestinian Justice Minister Ali Abu Diak in his office in Ramallah, the first meeting since the minister was appointed in December 2015. Mr. Mauget briefed the minister on the current cooperation between the two sides, highlighting the Mission’s mandate priorities in the field of Rule of Law. The minister touched upon the priorities of the ministry and the spectrum of activities conducted under the support of EUPOL COPPS, mainly in the field of clarification of the roles and mandate, support to the legislation and the support to the structural reforms of the Ministry of Justice as an organization.
