Between 11 and 14 April, EUPOL COPPS organised, at the initiative of the Palestinian Ministry of Justice and in cooperation with UNDP, a study visit in Tunis. The visit aimed at providing training for legal staff and legislative drafters from different institutions on legislative drafting techniques and the law-making process. The delegation was composed of the Deputy Minister of Justice Mr. Mohammad Abu Alsondus and legal staff from the Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Interior, Council of Ministers and the Office of the President. In addition to the training provided by the Tunisian Centre for Legal and Judicial Studies, the delegation met with relevant offices at the Tunisian Ministry of Justice, the General Secretariat of the Government and the General Secretariat of the Parliament.
