On 20 April 2016, EUPOL COPPS delivered on Wednesday data switches to the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) to enhance the internal flow of information. The computer network connects all districts together and provides access to centralised information systems and databases, as well as internal services such as e-mails and intranet. Several new PCP buildings have been constructed recently. After installing these switches, the newly erected structures will be connected with the PCP computer network, to enable usage of the computerised PCP processes and applications.
The United Kingdom has funded the project, which will improve and widen the PCP network connectivity.
