On 01June, 2016, EUPOL COPPS police advisers delivered a two-week training course for 32 Palestinian police officers from the Special Police Force unit. The training in the Jericho-based Palestine College for Police Sciences included a refresher course on crowd management, arrest techniques, self-defense, gradual use of force and code of conduct. The drills, which aimed at enhancing and maintaining the trainers skills and capabilities, also focused on respecting human rights while executing such tasks.
